Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between full and partial dentures?
Full dentures replace all the teeth in the upper or lower jaw, resting directly on the gums. Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain, filling in the gaps and anchoring to the existing teeth for stability.
How long does it take to get used to wearing dentures?
It is completely normal to experience an adjustment period of a few weeks. Speaking and eating may feel different at first, but with practice and minor adjustments from our team, they will soon feel comfortable and natural.
Will my dentures look like fake teeth?
Not at all. We take meticulous impressions and work with skilled labs to ensure the shape, size, and color of your artificial teeth and acrylic gums complement your facial features and look incredibly realistic.
How do I care for my dentures?
You should remove and gently brush your dentures daily using a soft-bristled brush and a non-abrasive denture cleanser. Always soak them in water or a mild denture-soaking solution overnight to keep them from drying out and warping.
Do I still need dental check-ups if I have full dentures?
Absolutely. Regular visits are crucial to examine your gums, check for oral cancer, and ensure your dentures still fit properly, as your jawbone and gums can naturally change shape over time.
