Meet Our Family
Our doctors at Comprehensive Family Dental, Drs. Rainey and Fritsche, are committed to providing dental patients of all ages with the highest level of dental and orthodontics care in the Victoria, Texas Crossroads area.
Dr. Rainey was raised in Refugio, Texas. His father was not only the town’s dentist, but he was also a well-known lecturer in micro-dentistry. Having grown up very familiar with the dental field, it was a natural progression for Dr. Rainey to be drawn to dentistry himself.
He attended the University of Texas at Austin and dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. In 2011, Dr. Rainey received the FAGD title, which stands for “Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.” To earn the FAGD, a dentist must complete a minimum of 500 continuing dental education credit hours, pass a comprehensive exam and have been an AGD member for three continuous years.
Dr. Rainey has been committed throughout his career to continuing education and has averaged approximately 80 hours annually. He has also been recognized more than once in the Texas Monthly’s “Superdentists” issue, which recognizes some of the top dentists in Texas.
For the past decade, Dr. Rainey has been using his extensive orthodontic and dental sleep medicine training to treat patients of all ages who have sleep disordered breathing health issues. Dr. Rainey is the only Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine in Victoria, Texas.
Dr. Fritsche was raised in a small northwest Texas town, and graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she received a Clinical Excellence Award.
After dental school while still in San Antonio, she practiced at a clinic that primarily treated children along with maternity patients, and developed a love for treating kids. Dr. Fritsche also was asked to become an adjunct faculty member for the UT Health Science Center hygiene department helping students with their clinical rotations. During this time, she also trained at the prestigious Pankey Institute gaining an advanced understanding of dental occlusion and TMJ health.
Dr. Fritsche is dedicated to the health and well being of new and returning patients. She believes in a whole body approach to dental care and enjoys spending time educating patients with different treatment options and most importantly prevention.
Away from the office, Dr. Fritsche enjoys taking care of her and Dr. Rainey’s family and their daughter, Emery.
At Comprehensive Family Dental, our devoted team is passionate about offering unparalleled dental care to patients across all age groups in the Crossroads region.
